  1. Thermal Relay Tripping
    • Cause: When the motor current is seriously over - loaded, the thermal relay will heat up, burn out and short - circuit, disconnecting the control circuit to achieve overload protection.
    • Solution: Select a thermal relay with appropriate specifications; clean and replace the faulty relay; change the motor starting method to reduce the number of starts; fasten the terminal connections and check the main wiring.
  2. Unloading Valve Failure
    • Cause: As a key valve part for matching air consumption and controlling the air intake of the air compressor, if it fails, it will cause abnormal shutdown.
    • Solution: For faults caused by dirt and jamming, clean the valve parts with a degreasing agent; if the valve parts are worn, grind the valve stem and add a small amount of grease; replace the valve if it is seriously damaged.

    • Solution: If due to excessive heat generation and poor heat dissipation of the equipment, check the air intake system (such as filters, flow resistance, dirt blockage); clean the cooling system and maintain the radiator; repair or replace the sensor if it fails; pay attention to the status of circulating water and lubricating oil.
  5. Excessive Head Resistance
    • Cause: Overload of the air compressor causes the air switch to trip, mostly due to excessive head resistance, which increases the starting current. Problems such as high lubricating oil viscosity, excessive oil volume, and head coking will increase the resistance.
    • Solution: Before starting in winter, turn the air compressor by hand to check the head resistance; pay attention to the impact of low temperature on lubricating oil viscosity; control the lubricating oil volume according to specifications; clean the head coking, and repair or replace the head if necessary.
